Poaching
Poaching is the unlawful or illegal taking of wild plants or animals, such as through hunting, harvesting, fishing, or trapping.
-Hunting-
To chase or search for (game or other wild animals) for the purpose of catching or killing.
A lot of people hunt for fun and they also call it a sport but this will never be a sport for me.
-Trapping-
Is the use of a device to remotely catch an animal.
I also hate this but they use it when they need to examinate the animal or when it is a pest control. But is not necesary to hurt them.
-Fishing-
The activity of catching fish, either for food or as a sport.
Most of the times fishing is for food but they also kill whales, seals, sharks, exotic animals, etc... for fun.
-Harvesting-
Is the process of gathering mature crops from the fields. Reaping is the cutting of grain or pulse for harvest.
People harvest when they plant plants, but when they only harves they cause the extinction of the plant. Also when people destroy enire forests there are bigger problems.
-Deforestation-
To cut down and clear away the trees or forests from.
This is very dangerous because you are not only destroying an habitat you are also detroying animals house and it affects all of us because there is less oxigen.
-Reasons for poaching-
Food: people eat these species and also there is people that want to eat the last animal of some kinds of animals.
Zoo: They trap animals for the zoos.
Sport: People think and consider hunting, fishing, etc... as a sport.
Pest control: Some times the goberment must control the animals that cause damages or when they are too much.
Tradicional medicine: Specialy in old parts, people kill animals or plants to do tradicional medicine.
Money: People that just kill for money, I hate them >:(
Perfume: A lot of exotic plants are used to make perfumes.
Clothing: People want to look good with animal skin.
etc...
-Effects on ecosystems and wildlife-
Poaching has the potential to cause endangered species to go extinct, as it severely lowers the number of animals found in the wild if not stopped. For example, the number of tigers in the wild has severely declined to less than 3,500. This is caused mostly by the high price the body parts of the tiger fetches on the black market, and the belief that parts such as their bones can be used as medicine.
Fragile ecosystems can be severely impacted by the illegal killing of animals. These effects could be irreversible, and devastating. In the case of the tiger, if the species goes extinct, it could collapse an entire ecosystem. Since the tiger is a predator, the lack of tigers could cause the numbers of the animals they prey on - primarily herbavores - to increase exponentially. The increase of typically-hunted herbivores and the lack of predators in the wild could cause the amount of natural flora to diminish, and exhaust the food supply of other animals, thus destroying an entire food chain
-Conservation of species-
1. Protect Wildlife Habitat
One of the most important ways to help threatened plants and animals survive is to protect their habitats permanently in national parks, nature reserves or wilderness areas. There they can live without too much interference from humans. It is also important to protect habitats outside reserves such as on farms and along roadsides.
2. Join a Conservation Organization
3. Reduce the Threat of Invasive Species
4. Recycle and Reduce Energy and Goods Consumption

5. Minimize use of Herbicides and Pesticides
6. Voice Your Concerns and Get Involved Locally
My opinion:
I think this is something we all know but no one does something for a change. It is horrible to see how people treat the nature, we depend from it. Another thing that is horrible to is when people kill for fun, when you kill for food is called predation and is something natural but for fun is hunting. :(
Sorry that is in spanish but its true :)
